Manhattan, KS Wedding | Scenic Valley Inn | Andy + Sarah

You might remember Andy and Sarah’s BEAUTIFUL engagement session from last fall. Well…their Spring wedding in Manhattan, with reception at Scenic Valley Inn reception, has come and gone…and love seriously filled the air. I found myself practically sobbing more than once that day.  Good thing Tyler packed some tissues in my bag!

We felt so honored to be a part of their day and we can only pray for blessings over a long life together for them. Congratulations, Andy and Sarah!

Check out Sarah’s wedding shoes – TOMS!!!undefined

It was so much fun watching Sarah’s sisters take turns doing her make-up. All together now…Sisters, sister… 😉undefinedundefined

If Sarah’s shoes aren’t enough of a testament toward her heart for the broken-hearted…let me tell you about RFKC. It stands for Royal Family Kids’ Camp. It’s a week long camp for neglected and/or abused children to be covered in the unconditional love they so desperately need – both Sarah and Andy (and their families) are heavily involved each year. I had the privilege of serving at RFKC for 3 years in college and I can testify what a blessing to God’s heart it is.undefinedundefined

I am so proud of this next picture. Sarah’s little niece is quite the spit-fire (much like our Truett) and this may be the only smile I got from her all day!undefinedundefinedundefined

On to the First Look. Andy and Sarah did something I’d never seen before. In addition to the traditional vows they exchanged during the ceremony, they also exchanged personalized vows immediately after the First Look while alone (well with Tyler and me). It was one of the most intimate things I’ve had the privilege of witnessing at a wedding.undefinedundefinedundefined

Off to Scenic Valley Inn (the site of their reception) for some lovely outdoor portraits…

I love the amazing light Tyler was able to capture inside their antique get-away car (provided by the owners of Scenic Valley Inn). Beautiful!

And it got dark very quickly…undefinedundefined

I’ll leave you with an image of pure joy. 🙂undefined
